Art BFA

Program Purpose

Our program is based in the exploration of ideas and aesthetics through traditional and experimental use of painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, and new media. Students develop the power to think critically and to pursue their artistic vision in ways that will contribute to the larger community aesthetically, ethically, and spiritually.  Through rigorous academic expectations and a direct mentoring environment, we aim to prepare students to perform at the highest levels in their chosen artistic direction, while maintaining the highest standards of honesty, integrity and morality.
